Those opting for the top-of-the-line variant, the VIP7 HEV, will have to pay 144,900 SAR, a fair bit more than the base GL variant. 

Which is the most value-for-money variant? 

The base variant might be the most value-for-money variant for most prospective buyers since it has almost the same performance as the GL HEV and the VIP7 HEV but costs slightly less than the two. So upgrading to them might not make the most sense for most buyers.

It adopts a more desirable, SUV-like aesthetic, and its interiors are designed to impress with premium amenities. 

The standout feature is its hybrid powertrain, which offers smooth and responsive performance, promising impressive fuel efficiency and lower running costs. Being environmentally friendlier than petrol or diesel vehicles is an added advantage. 

The monocoque construction significantly improves driving dynamics, and the electric power steering enhances user-friendliness compared to the Crysta. However, the e-CVT can make the engine sound strained under aggressive driving, and while the hybrid system performs well, it lacks the diesel's robust punch. The front-wheel-drive layout may be a drawback for those driving in hilly regions. Additionally, the interior fit and finish of some components do not match the car's premium segment.

What are my alternatives? 

The Innova faces competition from the Kia Carens and the Kia Carnival. Additionally, the Toyota Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross, despite being siblings, also vie against each other in the market.
